The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be one of several teams looking to poach San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Alex Boone, according to an NFL.com report

Tampa Bay has strong interest in Boone but has had no "real conversation" with the 49ers, a source with the Buccaneers told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The 27-year-old Boone is a key member of the 49ers offensive line, starting every game for San Francisco in 2012 and 2013.

Boone is part of a front five charged with protecting quarterback Colin Kaepernick that includes tackles Joe Staley and Anthony Davis, center Daniel Kilgore and guard Mike Iupati.

The five-year veteran is holding out  with the 49ers and the two sides are reportedly "not close to a contract extension." While multiple teams have been linked to the Ohio State product, Tampa Bay is the most recent team to be specifically mentioned as having an interest in Boone.
