TEMPE -- The Arizona Cardinals continue their time on the field here at the training facility in Tempe - we're officially in June, which means actual football is right around the corner and (most) drama can be left behind moving forward.

Typical to Arizona fashion, a bright and sunny day saw the Cardinals piece together the building blocks for the 2023 season. Rookies try to play catch up to veterans while seasoned players find their rhythm ahead of mandatory minicamp (June 13) and training camp (late July).

This was the second practice media members were allowed to attend - though some notable names were missing. Budda Baker continues to be absent but recently told 12 News he would be ready for mandatory stuff. Marquise Brown wasn't spotted at practice while Zach Ertz was spotted working off to the side.

And yes - Kyler Murray was in attendance taking in quarterback drills while he rehabs his ACL.
