The mandatory mini camps have started all across the NFL and this is a time for the players to get together before a long summer absence. The Chargers offseason program was no different and you could feel the strong team vibes throughout. All but two players on the 90-man roster made an appearance at the camp. The only two not to show up were those dealing with injuries.

Daniel Popper of The Athletic detailed some of what was going on at the Chargers camp:

"The two players I did not see on the field Tuesday: defensive lineman Austin Johnson and rookie safety Tyler Baker-Williams. Johnson continues to rehab a significant knee injury that ended his 2022 season. Baker-Williams has an undisclosed injury."

Per The Athletic

This is a great sign for the upcoming season and shows the team continuity that the Chargers have. It's a crucial season for Los Angeles after collapsing in the AFC Wild Card round last postseason. This team is ready to put it all behind them and get to work towards their goal of winning a Super Bowl.

The Chargers have their work cut out for them this season however as the defending Super Bowl champions reside in their division and others will likely get better. Los Angeles has seen a great start to their offseason programs and will try to take this positivity with them going forward.

2023 could be a special season for the Bolts if the team can stay healthy and stays focused on the mission.
