DEC 22 BRIAN ROBINSON OUT VS. JETS Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. will miss his second consecutive game against the New York Jets with a hamstring injury, per The Athletic's Ben Standig.

Offensive linemen Tyler Larsen and Charles Leno Jr. are also out with their respective injuries.

The Commanders face the Jets on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium.

DEC 19 AARON RODGERS OUT VS. COMMANDERS Rumors of Aaron Rodgers' return against the Washington Commanders won't come to fruition.

The New York Jets quarterback went on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show for his weekly appearance and said he isn't medically cleared to return. Earlier this month, Rodgers was reportedly eyeing a return on Sunday against the Commanders (4-10).

The Jets (5-9) were eliminated from playoff contention on Sunday with their 30-0 loss to the Miami Dolphins (10-4), which likely factored into his decision to return.

The Commanders face the Jets on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium.

UPDATE: During pregame position drills Commanders defensive tackle John Ridgeway came up limping and was escorted off the field and into the locker room by team trainers.

UPDATE 2: Ridgeway was able to come out with his teammates for the start of the game.

While we didn't see what happened exactly, and no official report has been passed down from the team, it's safe to report Ridgeway's status is at least in question as Washington prepares to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.

DEC 16 AARON DONALD QUESTIONABLE The Los Angeles Rams could be playing the Washington Commanders without one of their best players.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is questionable with a groin injury.

The Commanders and Rams are set to kickoff at 4:05 p.m. ET.

DEC 15 BRIAN ROBINSON JR. OUT, EMMANUEL FORBES ACTIVE FOR SUNDAY The Washington Commanders will be without one of their top offensive weapons on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. was ruled out on Friday due to a hamstring injury. He suffered the injury on Dec. 3 against the Miami Dolphins and was unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday.

Defensive end James Smith-Williams is also out with a hamstring injury. Tight end Curtis Hodges was placed on the Injured Reserve due to a back injury.

Rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes will be active against the Rams. Forbes, who practiced fully throughout the week, had missed Washington's last two games due to an elbow injury.

Washington will get a boost on the offensive line with the return of Saahdiq Charles. He was activated off of the Injured Reserve after missing six games with a calf injury.

The Commanders (4-9) face the Rams (6-7) at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday at SoFi Stadium.

Friday Injury Report - Week 10

The Washington Commanders are pretty healthy heading into Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET. Curtis Samuel's status is the only one that's up in the air for Washington heading into Sunday. The Commanders receiver is questionable with a toe injury that also kept him out last Sunday against the New England Patriots.

The Seattle Seahawks had a lengthy injury report on Thursday, which included receiver DK Metcalf, who didn't practice due to a hip injury.

NOV 7 STROMBERG TO IR The Washington Commanders are making a move with their third-round rookie offensive lineman.

Per NFL insider Aaron Wilson, Ricky Stromberg (knee) is heading to injured reserve after suffering an injury in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. In a corresponding move, the team is signing offensive lineman Julian Good-Jones from the Eagles practice squad to the 53-man roster.

The team is also signing running back Jonathan Williams and linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle to the practice squad.

NOV 6 DANIEL JONES OUT FOR SEASON WITH TORN ACL New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Jones suffered the injury on Sunday in the Giants' 30-6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders

Jones was trying to escape a sack from Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby when his right knee buckled and he fell immediately to the ground. Jones came back out for one more play but dropped to the ground once again as he dropped back to pass on the first play of the second quarter and was taken out of the game.

Jones also missed three games due to a neck injury, including the Commanders' 14-7 loss to the Giants on Oct. 22. Now he'll also be out for their Week 11 matchup on Nov. 19 at FedEx Field at 1 p.m. ET.

With Tyrod Taylor on the IR, that leaves Tommy DeVito and Matt Barkley as the only active quarterbacks on the Giants roster who could start against Washington in two weeks.

Friday Injury Report - Week 7

Daniel Jones' status is still up in the air for Sunday when the Washington Commanders face the New York Giants on Sunday at MetLife Stadium at 1 p.m. ET.

Jones, who is recovering from a neck injury, returned to practice on Thursday and has been limited. Giants head coach Brian Daboll also said he hasn't been cleared for contact. Jones is questionable to play, but him not yet being cleared for contact may be an indication that Washington will likely face Tyrod Taylor.

Cornerback Adoree' Jackson (neck) and offensive tackle Evan Neal (ankle) are also questionable for New York. Offensive tackles Andrew Thomas (hamstring), Matt Peart (shoulder) and center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder) are ruled out for Sunday.

The Commanders remain relatively healthy heading into the Week 7 matchup. Cornerback Kendall Fuller, who didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday due to a knee injury, will be active for Washington against the Giants.

Wednesday Injury Report - Week 7

The Washington Commanders and New York Giants each have lengthy injury reports heading into their divisional matchup on Sunday.

Washington had 10 players on its injury report, including defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, defensive end Montez Sweat and Kendall Fuller. The Giants had 15 different players on their injury report and six of them were unable to practice on Wednesday.

Among the notable players for New York was quarterback Daniel Jones, who practiced for the first time since suffering a neck injury against the Miami Dolphins. His status for Sunday is still unknown.

Friday Injury Report - Week 6

The Washington Commanders will be down a cornerback and key special teams player when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Christian Holmes was ruled out due to a hamstring injury.

Holmes absence will marks the second injury to impact the Commanders' special teams unit. Jeremy Reaves, who was a Pro Bowler and First team All-Pro in 2022, was placed on the IR earlier this week.

Defensive end, Efe Obada was activated from the IR this week and is questionable against Atlanta. Obada is returning from a knee injury that caused him to miss the first five games of the season.

Left tackle Charles Leno (finger), receiver Curtis Samuel (finger) and tight end Curtis Hodges (illness) will play were full participants on Friday and enter Sunday without an injury designation.

Wednesday Injury Report - Week 6

After a mini-bye from playing last Thursday, the Washington Commanders (2-3) are relatively healthy heading into Sunday when they go to Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face the Atlanta Falcons (3-2). Only two players were unable to practice for the Commanders.

Friday Injury Report - Week 3

The Washington Commanders will be without their starting tight end when they face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at FedEx Field at 1 p.m. Logan Thomas will be out, as he's still recovering from a concussion he suffered in the Commanders' 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos.

Receiver Curtis Samuel is questionable for Sunday with an illness.

Defensive tackle Daron Payne, safety Quan Martin, center Nick Gates and running back Brian Robinson won't have an injury designation after being on the injury report earlier in the week.

Wednesday Injury Report - Week 3

Could the Washington Commanders (2-0) be down a key member of their defensive line on Sunday when they host the Buffalo Bills (1-1)?

Defensive tackle Daron Payne didn't practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury. Payne had one sack, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits in Washington's 35-33 win over the Denver Broncos. Payne downplayed his absence at practice.

"I feel good," Payne said. "Good to go."
