Bruins Announce Roster For First Preseason Game Against Washington Capitals
The Bruins have announced the roster for their first preseason game against the Washington Capitals on Sunday evening.
The forwards on the roster include Alex Steeves, James Hagens, Mark Kastelic, Ivan Ivan, Matt Poitras, Sean Kuraly, Joey Abate, Riley Duran, Attilio Biasca, Lukas Reichel, Jake Schmaltz, Marat Khusnutdinov, and Fraser Minten.
The defensemen consist of Mason Lohrei, Henri Jokiharju, Frederic Brunet, Jordan Harris, Jonathan Aspirot, Ty Gallagher, and Charlie McAvoy.
Boston’s goalies will be Michael DiPietro and Jiri Patera.

The Bruins will take on the Capitals on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. ET at TD Garden.
The contest is one of four preseason games that the Bruins will play prior to the start of their 2026-27 campaign.
Boston will also host the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. before playing two road games at Philadelphia on Thursday night and at Washington on Friday night. Both games are set to start at 7 p.m.
Boston opens its season on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at TD Garden against the New York Rangers. Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN.
