Dan Hurley Addresses Wife Andrea’s Physical Reaction to UConn Buzzer-Beater

In this story:
The college basketball community is still buzzing about the buzzer-beater that UConn Huskies freshman Braylon Mullins nailed against the Duke Blue Devils in the Elite Eight on March 29.
UConn stole the ball back from Duke after a misexecuted inbound with a few seconds remaining, which gave Mullins enough time to launch a deep three that sent Huskies head coach Dan Hurley to his third Final Four in four years and sent Duke's faithful fan base home.

Hurley has been married to his wife, Andrea, since 1997. They met when they were both students at Seton Hall University and currently have two sons together.
Adrea Hurley even started a podcast alongside Nicole Kellogg, the wife of UMass coach Derek Kellogg, that is called "Ball is Wife". But the podcast is no longer doing new episodes.

Dan Hurley's Comments on Wife Andrea's Reaction to UConn Buzzer Beater Speak Volumes
Dan Hurley was the guest on an April 1 episode of Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" show, and he spoke about the viral buzzer beater, including his wife's reaction.
"Yeah, and she knows nothing," Hurley said when Barstool's Dan "Big Cat" Katz mentioned that Andrea Hurley (who was seated right behind the Huskies' bench) was telling everyone to get back on the bench as soon as that buzzer-beater happened.

"Yeah, she's a boss," Hurley added. "She's the jersey boss lady. And her language is colorful, too. I mean, she was grabbing people around the back of their warmups. And she doesn't know anything about basketball, you know?
"Like, I said to her on the plane, 'This is wild. Three out of four years, you're going to the Final Four. Did you ever imagine this with your life?' And she's like, 'I didn't even know Final Four existed until your years ago," he added.

A few hours after these comments went viral, the UConn men's basketball team's X account posted a video that showed Andrea Hurley doing exactly what her husband explained: beckoning and grabbing for all the players to get back on the bench after Mullins hit the game-winning shot, since there were 0.3 seconds left on the clock.
"She immediately starts motioning to the bench man, look at this 😭
"Team player!!" the post is captioned.

Major props to Andrea Hurley for managing to maintain a level head amid the chaos of that shot finding the net. Luckily UConn's wild reaction didn't draw a technical foul.
