Tyrese Maxey’s GF Myra Gordon's Deleted Pregnancy Post Sparks Relationship Questions

In this story:
Philadelphia 76ers star guard Tyrese Maxey has had a busy 2026, both on and off the basketball court.
Maxey returned to games on March 28 after missing a considerable amount of time with a hand injury. And this timing could not be better for Philadelphia, as they're looking to climb up from their No. 7 spot in the Eastern Conference standings, as of their April 1 game against the Washington Wizards.

Maxey was not on a minutes restriction and quickly returned to form after missing three weeks, as he scored 26 points in 43 minutes of action against the Charlotte Hornets on March 28. And he'll look to continue that form against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Maxey has also made headlines off the court, specifically regarding his relationship with former college basketball standout Myra Gordon.
Gordon made an Instagram post on November 12, 2025, which revealed she was pregnant. Since Maxey and Gordon weren't together at the time, there was uncertainty about whether Maxey was the father.
However, clarity arrived when Gordon made an Instagram post on March 9, which featured several photos of her and Maxey holding hands. The post was captioned, "i carry her while he carries us 🫶🏽".
This seemed to be a reference to Maxey taking care of financial matters while Gordon takes care of their baby's immediate physical needs. It definitely appeared to confirm that Maxey was the baby's father.

Tyrese Maxey and Myra Gordon Delete Shared Pregnancy Post
Maxey was tagged in the final photo, and both Maxey and Gordon have this post featured on their Instagram accounts.
However, as of April 1, the post has been deleted from both Maxey and Gordon's Instagram profiles. Gordon's most recent post is from February 1 and was captioned, "Big Mama x Cabo 🩷".
Of course, the fact that his post is no longer on both Maxey and Gordon's profiles doesn't necessarily mean they've broken up or that something else in that same vein happened. Perhaps they simply decided to archive it in order to create more excitement for when their baby is born.
But this shared deletion is going to cause a stir regardless of its reasoning among the basketball community. It seems unlikely that a resolution to this will be revealed until the baby is born, which should be arriving at some point in the relatively near future.
Until then, Maxey will be focused on staying healthy and leading Philadelphia deep into the NBA playoffs.
