Braves outfielder Justin Upton leaves Tuesday's game with left hamstring strain

Braves left fielder Justin Upton left Tuesday's game in Colorado with a left hamstring strain, the team announced. He is day-to-day.

Upton hit an infield single and scored in the top of the first inning but didn't play the field in the bottom of the inning.

The 26-year-old is hitting .292 with 14 homers (third in the National League) and 36 RBIs in 59 games this season. The two-time All-Star leads the Braves (33-29 entering Tuesday) with a .923 OPS.

He is in his second year with Atlanta after six seasons with the Diamondbacks.
