'Good young team' - Huddersfield boss gives Sunderland verdict ahead of clash

Huddersfield Town boss Jon Worthington says Sunderland are ‘a good young team’ with talented individuals as he set out to cast his side as disruptors.
The Terriers’ caretaker manager has given his players a new lease of life, and they have scored seven goals in their last two Championship games.
That included a 4-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday in their last home game, but they also impressed in a 5-3 defeat to Southampton at St Mary’s on Saturday.

Sunderland, then, hold little fear for Worthington, although he does know he’s facing another very talented team this week.
"Good team, young team,” Worthington said of Sunderland. “I think they've got some good individuals.
“Every game is a challenge and we won't be treating it any different to the previous two games.”
Huddersfield certainly look a lot sharper and hungrier under Worthington that they did under predecessor Darren Moore, and much of that is down to a fresh mentality.
He says he wants his team to play with and aggressive high press, and that is what Sunderland will have to get to grips with at The John Smith’s Stadium.

"I think for me it's trying to be as on the front foot as possible, be aggressive as we can to win the ball as high up the pitch as possible, as close to the opposition's goal,” Worthington said.
“I'm a big believer in reactive pressure in terms of if you do make a mistake or you lose the ball in the attacking half that we win it back as quickly as possible to create more opportunities around their goal.
"It's some simple things about passing forward and running forward. If you mix that in with peoples' ability to fight and show they care, that's how I see the game."
