Potential Sunderland fifth-round FA Cup tie chosen for live TV broadcast

The BBC have already decided their live FA Cup fifth-round matches, and they could feature Sunderland.

Sunderland will be on live television again in the FA Cup fifth-round – if they get through the replay against Fulham.

The BBC have already announced which live fixtures they will be broadcasting live in round five, and Sunderland are again in among it.

Should Sunderland win the replay next week, they will face Leeds United on Tuesday 28 February (7.45pm kick-off) live on the BBC.

The following night they will screen Wrexham or Sheffield United against Tottenham.

Sunderland are certainly flavour of the month right now when it comes to the television companies.

As well as returning to terrestrial television for the Fulham game, two Championship matches have also been selected for live broadcast by Sky Sports in March.

The first of those is the away game at Norwich City on March 12, with the home clash with Sheffield United three days later also to be broadcast live.
