Tony Mowbray on Sunderland youngster: 'He's going to excite fans, he's just goes past people'

Tony Mowbray has backed new Sunderland signing Isaac Lihadji to 'excite' the fans.
The 20-year-old joined from Lille during the January transfer window, although he is yet to make dis debut as he awaits a work permit.
That could come through before the game against Millwall, and Mowbray is looking forward to unleashing the winger on the Championship.
"I'm watching Isaac [Lihadji] in training and he's going to excite the fans," Mowbray said. "He's so fast from a standing start and just goes past people.
"Having been in football so long, I feel the future looks really bright for this football club as long as we keep these young players happy and believing in themselves, because they have wonderful attributes.”
Lihadji was indeed once one of the top young players in French football, and he made his debut for Marseille in Ligue 1 at just 17-years-old.
He was also a star of the under-17 World Cup in 2019, and was so coveted as a youngster that Barcelona would have taken him had he not suffered an injury at an importune time.
The former Lille man also already has Champions League games in his record, as well as a number of appearances in the Europa League.
He signed a two-and-a-half year deal at Sunderland with an option of another 12 months.
