  • Brandon Miller had 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 30 minutes for the Charlotte Hornets in their loss to the Washington Wizards.
  • The finale of Alabama baseball’s Fall World Series came down to the wire with the Crimson team claiming an 8-6 win at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Crimson jumped out front to an early 6-0 lead after the first, highlighted by a three-run homer from Camden Hayslip, and added one more in the third for a 7-0 advantage after three innings of play. Gray got on the board in the top of the fourth with a three-spot before Crimson answered with one in the fifth to make it an 8-3 ballgame after five full. Gray continued to chip away, plating three in the top of the sixth to make it an 8-6 affair headed to the seventh. In the top of that final frame, Gray was able to load the bases with one down, but a 4-6-3 double play ended things and helped Crimson clinch the Fall World Series title.
  • Men's golf announced that Michael Crocker, Nick Gross and William Jennings have signed National Letters of Intent and will join the Crimson Tide program for the 2024-25 season. The trio makes up what is considered the top-ranked class in the country and was ranked as such by CollegeGolfCommits.com. Gross is ranked No. 1 in his class in the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) and No. 2 in the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) rankings, while Jennings is No. 11 and 8, respectively. Crocker is the reigning Alabama state junior champion. “Nick is one of the top players in all of the United States," head coach Jay Seawell said in a release. "He played on the Junior Ryder Cup and President’s Cup teams. His awards and records stand for itself and we are certainly excited to have him on board. He’s a great young man who will be an instant impact for our program and we look forward to showcasing that in the fall of 2024.”

  • Softball announced signing four players on National Signing Day including pitcher Raya Hodges out of Dothan, Ala.
