Live Updates: No. 11 Alabama Gymnastics vs. No. 6 Auburn
Alabama competes against Auburn Friday night for a home meet in Coleman Coliseum.
This Power of Pink meet is an event that brings awareness to breast cancer and raises funds for the DCH Foundation. The stands are expected to be packed as the meet was sold out by the beginning of the week.
While many fans are in attendance for the rivalry and Power of Pink, there's also a high-profile gymnast set to compete. Former Olympian, Suni Lee, is on Auburn's team, and many people want to see her perform for her lone trip to Tuscaloosa. Her experience and expertise make her stand out amongst other collegiate gymnasts.
Although Auburn has Lee as an all-arounder and beat Alabama during last year's dual meet, the Alabama gymnasts are still capable of securing a win. Auburn has never won in Coleman Coliseum.
Makarri Doggette scored a 10.0 on bars last weekend against Kentucky. Freshman Gabby Gladieux keeps increasing her personal bests. Lilly Hudson and Luisa Blanco both scored 9.95s. The team is hoping to keep building on the high scores from last meet.
In fact, the team scored an all-around score of 197.325 last time out against Kentucky, which is their season high. With the rate of their improvement and success, the team is looking like they will go above their current season high score.
The meet is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on SEC Network.

3. Makarri Doggette- Beautiful full-in first pass and good back 1.5 to front layout pass. Very energetic routine. 9.8
4. Gabby Gladieux- Sky-high full-in with good landing. Front layout to rudi to split jump with lots of height. 9.925
5. Lilly Hudson- Gorgeous front layout to front double twist and solid back 2.5 twist. Finished with great double back. 9.975
