Live with the Tide: Defensive Backs Take Center Stage on Final Day of NFL Combine

The final day of the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine will conclude on Sunday afternoon with the defensive backs taking the field to showcase their abilities in front of coaches and scouts.
Three former University of Alabama players will participate including Xavier McKinney, Trevon Diggs, and Shyheim Carter.

Diggs and Carter are apart of the same group and will begin with the 40-yard dash. McKinney is with the second group, which will also start with the 40 at 2:30 p.m, CT.
The event will be broadcasted entirely on the NFL Network.

4:20 p.m - Frustrating for McKinney as is officially done for the day. His broad jump was 10.2 feet. He will have the opportunity to step on the field and show case what he can do on Mar. 24, which is Alabama's Pro Day. His vertical jump was 36 inches.

3:55 p.m - McKinney said it was cramps and he will not run second 40-yard dash. He has taken his shoes off and is possibly done for the day. Says he is disappointed.
3:48 p.m - McKinney starts his day with an official 4.64 40-yard dash. He pulled up grimacing at the end.

3:15 p.m - His first time through the gauntlet drill, Diggs did not miss a pass and stayed straight down the line. Made it look easy.
2:45 p.m - Diggs continues to move through the drills and his footwork and ball skills are really showing out. The guys on the broadcast is asking if there has ever been a sibling covering a sibling in a NFL game. Rich Eisen and Deion Sanders are saying they would want to see Diggs matchup against his brother, Stefon, who plays for the Minnesota Vikings.
2:05 p.m - Diggs did not run the 40-yard dash, but he just went through the back pedal drill. He is impressing early. Most mock drafts have him listed as one of the top three cornerbacks taken off the board come April.
