Alabama Baseball to have Tough SEC Opener as 2024 League Schedule Released

New Alabama Crimson Tide baseball coach Rob Vaughn will have a difficult opening weekend in league play as the team will host Tennessee on March 15-17. If the opponent wasn't difficult enough, the series will be played both during the university's spring break and the SEC Men's Basketball Tournament.
The SEC schedule was released Wednesday afternoon. The full schedule will feature four weeks of non-conference play followed by 10 weeks of conference matchups. The regular season concludes May 16-18 with Alabama visiting rival Auburn. The SEC Tournament is set for May 21-26 at the Hoover Met.
The schedule is subject to change for television, including the move of some conference series to begin on Thursdays.
The Crimson Tide will also host Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina and Texas A&M and visit Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
The current schedule is subject to change for television purposes with televised games yet to be determined. All game times will be released at a later date.
