BamaCentral Courtside: No. 12 Auburn 99, No. 16 Alabama 81

BamaCentral's Blake Byler and Mathey Gibson break down the Crimson Tide's loss to the Tigers on the road.

AUBURN Ala. – On Wednesday, No. 16 Alabama Basketball fell to No. 12 Auburn 99-81 inside Neville Arena, dropping to 16-7 (8-2 SEC).

While it looked as if the Crimson Tide were about to enact a comeback at certain points in both halves, it wasn't in the cards, as the Tigers used a 27-64 performance from the field (40-for-50 FT) to sink all hopes of an upset.

After the loss, Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide will now turn their attention towards Matt McMahon’s LSU Tigers, as a matchup at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center awaits them on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CT.
