How to Watch: No. 15 Alabama Basketball vs Texas A&M

Everything you need to know about the Crimson Tide's home matchup with the Aggies coming off a bye week.

The SEC basketball schedule had a new wrinkle in it this year, with every team getting a "bye week" at some point during the season, meaning each team has a Saturday to Saturday stretch where it doesn't play during the midweek.

For Alabama basketball, this week is its bye week, and it came at a great time, with the Crimson Tide having just played back-to-back road games against Auburn and LSU.

After the bye, Alabama turns its attention to the Texas A&M Aggies, who have won five of their last seven games and vaulted to near the top of the SEC standings.

The Aggies have been a thorn in head coach Nate Oats' side throughout his Alabama tenure. Oats is just 1-3 against Texas A&M, with his lone win coming in last season's SEC tournament championship game. Oats has never beaten the Aggies in the regular season.

To add to the intrigue of the game, Alabama will be honoring its 2004 Elite Eight team, and wearing new uniforms that incorporate the Crimson Tide's retro "block-A" logo.

Texas A&M is still led by one of the best guard duos in the SEC, Wade Taylor IV and Tyrece Radford, which makes the Aggies a dangerous matchup for any team, especially one that's struggled as much as Alabama defensively.
