Alabama Posts Initial Roster for 2020 Spring Practices

The University of Alabama football program has updated its roster, removing the outgoing players and listing early enrollees who can participate in spring practices.

Some items of note:

• Defensive back Nigel Knott is not listed. He recently posted on social media that he had been medically cleared for football.

• Running back Jerome Ford is still on the official roster, although he's already announced he's transferring to Cincinnati.

• Tight end Giles Amos is still listed, as a redshirt senior.

• Offensive lineman Hunter Brannon is no longer on the roster. Nick Saban said during last season that he was dealign with "medical issues."

• Defensive lineman LaBryan Ray is listed as a redshirt junior after missing most of last season (foot/leg).

• Alabama has 13 early enrollees. Safety Malachi Moore had hoped to be on campus this semester, but that apparently hasn 't happened.
