National Early Signing Date for college football is on Wednesday and most of the nation's top prospects already know where they're going to go. In fact, a number have already enrolled and are participating in bowl practice with their respective teams.

That's becoming the new normal as the recruiting cycle is always changing but there are still prospects out there left to make decisions.

The Alabama Crimson Tide secured one of them on Monday night in Jayshawn Ross.

Ross, a 4-star athlete, took to social media on Monday night to announce he was committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide to become the 22nd member of the Tide's 2024 class.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound athlete out of Liberty North High School in Kansas City, Mo., is considered the No. 6 player in the state of Missouri and the No. 21 overall edge prospect in the class.

He took his official visit to Tuscaloosa for the LSU game this past season and was primarily pursued by Freddie Roach and Coleman Hutzler. Ross chose the Tide over offers from Kansas State, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Alabama remains with the No. 4 overall class according to 247Sports, however Ross's commitment bumps them into the No. 3 spot for the 247Sports composite, calculating other recruiting services rankings as well.

The Crimson Tide has a few more prospects they are after as the 2024 cycle comes to a close. Alabama would like to add a running back or two and flip a defensive lineman if possible.
