Recruiting Services Update Their Rankings as Season Reaches Midway Point

The college football season has reached the midway point, while high school teams are already in their home stretch for the 2019 regular season.
Consequently, many of the national recruiting services have been updating their rankings, beginning to zero in on the start of the early signing period on Dec. 18.
Everyone agrees that Nick Saban is putting together another stellar recruiting class at Alabama for the 2020 signing year.
However, almost no one agrees on how good the players are individually.
Here are recruiting rankings by the three biggest services for the Crimson Tide’s 23 commitments, plus the 247Sports composite rankings.
Rankings are as of Oct. 17, as Alabama prepares to host one of its biggest rivals, Tennessee, in the annual Third Saturday in October showdown.
The first number is the star rating each service has applied, with 5-star obviously being the best. The number in parenthesis is the overall national ranking.
If a player is not listed in the service’s top player ranking (the 247, ESPN’s 300, Rivals 250) his ranking at his position is used.
