Arizona State to play at Allegiant Stadium
The Pac- 12 has been making a lot of news lately and the latest is that Sun Devil football will play the University of Las Vegas in the new $2 Billion home of the Las Vegas Raiders this fall.
Allegiant Stadium is almost done and when it is, the Sun Devils will take the field to play the Rebels on September 12th.
This will mark the first road-trip matchup for the Sun Devils against the Rebels and the second time that these two teams have ever met. The last time these two teams faced off was back in 2008 at Sun Devil Stadium where the Rebels ran away with it 23-20 in overtime.
UNLV hired new head coach Marcus Arroyo in the offseason just days after he won the Pac-12 Championship as the Oregon Offensive Coordinator. Arroyo is well versed in the Pac-12 and will be ready for Arizona State as they compete in the newest NFL stadium in September.
The matchup against the Rebels marks the second game of a three game non-conference schedule. Before the Devils travel to Vegas, they host Northern Arizona then road trip to Vegas and return back to Tempe to welcome BYU on September 19th before they start conference Pac-12 play at USC.
