Five Razorbacks Get Invitations to NFL Combine This Month

It wasn't surprising who will get to showcase skills to NFL scouts, coaches, GMs

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Five Arkansas players got invitations to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Ind., starting Feb. 26. It wasn't particularly surprising offensive linemen Beaux Limmer and Brady Latham, defensive lineman Trajan Jeffcoat, defensive back Dwight McGlothern and kicker Cam Little were invited to come in for a look.

Limmer was at the Reese’s Senior Bowl earlier this month. The Tyler, Texas native started 41 games in his career, including all 12 in 2023 and the final 36 games of his career. He moved to center in the win over Kansas in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to wrap up the 2022 season and started 11 of the team’s 12 games there in 2023.

He was the team’s highest rated offensive lineman this past season according to Pro Football Focus (PFF) and totaled more offensive snaps (809) than any Razorback. He earned All-SEC recognition from at least one media outlet in three of his four seasons, including a second-team mention from the Associated Press in 2022.

Latham started 47 games as a Razorback during his five-year career. He was a fourth-team All-SEC selection by Phil Steele in his final season adding to Third-Team All-SEC honors in 2022 from PFF and SEC All-Freshman honors in 2020. The Jenks, Okla., native entered his senior campaign having started 36 consecutive games but saw his streak snapped when he was sidelined for the season opener.

Jeffcoat made an impact in his only season on The Hill after transferring from Missouri. He ranked second on the team in both sacks (4.0) and tackles for loss (8.5) while making 16 tackles and logging five quarterback hurries over his 12 starts. The Columbia, S.C. native began his career at Missouri where he earned First-Team All-SEC accolades in 2020 after recording 23 tackles and six sacks in just nine games. He finished his career with 15.5 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss.

McGlothern was one of the SEC’s top-rated corners in 2023 having earned a 91.3 rating from PFF. He led Arkansas in interceptions in each of his two seasons, picking off four passes in 2022 and following it up with three in 2023. His work in 2022 earned him Second-Team All-SEC status from the league’s coaches and a third-team nod from PFF. The LSU transfer made 20 tackles and broke up 6 passes last season despite missing three games.

Little leaves Arkansas as one of the program’s best kickers in recent memory. The native of Moore, Okla. accomplished a lot in just three seasons, earning First-Team All-SEC in 2023 from the league’s coaches after already earning Freshman All-America in 2021 and is a two-time member of the SEC Community Service Team.

The honors came with good reason as Little’s name is all over the Arkansas record book. His career field goal percentage of 82.8% shattered the school record previously held by Connor Limpert. His 288 career points are the second-most in school history behind Zach Hocker’s 354. Little also resides in the all-time career top 10 in field goal attempts (64), field goals made (53), PAT attempts (129), PATs made (129) and his four field goals of 50+ yards this past season matches the single-season school record.

This marks the third straight year five Razorbacks have been invited to the combine with linebackers Drew Sanders, wide receivers Jadon Haselwood and Matt Landers, and offensive linemen Ricky Stromberg and Dalton Wagner all participating last year. Sanders was a third-round selection of the Denver Broncos and Stromberg was picked later in the third round by the Washington Commanders.
