With a gorgeous Saturday afternoon for A-Day, Auburn continues to recruit at a high level.

Here are recruiting notes and quotes from top prospects in attendance. Several of these young men are either committed to the Tigers or soon could be.

Top Quarterback Visits The Tigers

From Corona (Calif.) Centennial, Husan Longstreet is one of the nation's most prolific passers. He will be in the Elite 11 finals because of his top-notch performance at the Los Angeles regional competition. According to 247, Longstreet is the nation's #28 prospect.

He's deciding April 14 and the Tigers are the last program to see him on campus prior to his decision. In fact, this weekend is Longstreet's official visit to Auburn. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Oregon are the other programs he's been considering. Longstreet came to Auburn on Friday and also spent Saturday on the Plains.

Signing Longstreet would be a tremendous accomplishment. It's not easy to lure top-tier California talent all the way to the state of Alabama.

Who's The Next 2025 Recruit To Commit?

If it's not Longstreet that makes a pledge to the Tigers next, perhaps it's a young man from Florida.

One of the top Auburn cornerback prospects came to A-Day and is scheduled to take his official visit on June 14. Dante Core is likely to choose between Ole Miss and Auburn; the decision could come soon and is not likely to drag into the summer. The 6-foot and 170-pound cornerback is familiar with Auburn and A-Day did nothing but improve the Tigers' chances to sign him.

Core comes from Fort Walton Beach (Fla.) High School, just 206 miles south on the Florida coast. Auburn needs to land more prospects from the Florida Panhandle like it used to do, and Core would be a great start.

There's also Eric Winters. It's been a battle between Auburn and Georgia for quite some time, with Tennessee and Miami also attempting to win his recruitment. The Enterprise (Ala.) High School hybrid safety is a frequent visitor to the Plains and this recruiting race is going to come down to the wire.

2026 Recruit High On The Tigers

Pensacola (Fla.) Pine Forest linebacker Zion Legree came to Auburn again. His first recruiting visit would actually be Auburn a little while back. He admitted that he loves the Auburn atmosphere and also offered an interesting tidbit about how that visit helped him as a recruit overall.

"It opened my eyes to college football," Legree said of his first trek to the Plains. "It helped me learn the recruiting process even more." Even with two years of high school remaining, he has two more prominent offers in addition to Auburn.

"I have Kentucky and the University of Notre Dame," Legree said of a few of his offers. Tulane, Arkansas State, and other programs already made offers as well. Besides Auburn, he's also going to see another group of Tigers.

"I have a visit to LSU on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to that."

Legree will be one of the state of Florida's most highly coveted prospects. For anyone that watches Legree's sophomore highlight film, it's not hard to see why. He's a fantastic athlete and football player.

Recruiting Names To Know

The list of uncommitted recruits is long. Several of these young men are truly big-time prospects. Here are a few of them that came, with each prospect being class of 2025 unless otherwise noted:

Isaiah Gibson, defensive end, Warner Robins (Ga.) High School - Southern Cal commit

Dontrell Glover, offensive guard, Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes

Nathaniel Marshall, defensive end, Chicago (Ill.) Fenwick

Jontae Gilbert, safety, Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass

Auburn Commitments In Attendance

As one would expect, Opelika (Ala.) High School defensive tackle Malik Autry came to the Plains and did so early. He was one of the first 2025 Auburn commitments walking around the field prior to the contest. The 6-foot-6 and 320-pound defensive tackle is the #34 recruit by 247. Here are a few of other Auburn commitments in attendance from either the 2024 or 2025 class, just going by conversations on the field and the naked eye.

Malcolm Simmons, wide receiver, Alexander City (Ala.) Benjamin Russell - 2024

Perry Thompson, wide receiver, Foley (Ala.) High School - 2024

Jakaleb Faulk, defensive end, Highland Home (Ala.) High School - 2025
