In this story:

Auburn has its guys in certain positions like QB and RB, as Walker White and J'marion Burnette. They still have pressing needs on the offensive side of the ball.

Tight end, Offensive line, and Wide receiver are all highlighted in the following list because Auburn needs help along all three positions. The tight end room will be thin following this season as Brendan Frazier, Luke Deal, and Tyler Fromm are all seniors and barring an injury or misuse Rivaldo Fairweather seems to be a potential NFL Draft pick.

The WR room despite having some depth will lose at least two players due to graduation and the room lacks a top tier threat to defenses. The offensive line need doesn't need to be explained, but in short the line has had years of under development and poor recruiting that the Freeze staff is trying to correct.

1. Martavious Collins - TE

Collins, who is listed as an athlete on recruiting sites but primarily is a tight end for his high school team, has been viewed as the top target on Auburns TE board since January. Martavious visited as an Alabama commit in mid-January and a few weeks later he decommitted from the Tide. The composite four-star recruit according to 247 Sports, was a star offensively for the Rome Wolves. With Collins proximity to the Tigers and Auburns interest it will be interesting to see how long the tigers can pursue before they get a commitment. Collins will be in attendance at A-Day on April 8th.

2. Mario Craver - ATH

Craver is one of the most dynamic and shifty athletes being pursued by the Tigers in this class. Standing at 5'9 and a slight 152 pounds according to 247 Sports, he has shades of Onterio McCaleb's speed and agility but at the receiver position. Craver has over 1400 receiving yards on his career for Clay-Chalkville, and to go along with the yardage he has 19 receiving touchdowns. Craver has been to Auburn only a few time, but the most recent visit that occurred on March 22nd, put the Tigers in a good place as Craver had high reviews.

3. Perry Thompson - WR

The Alabama commit attached to his name might scare most fans, but those who know are aware that Thompson has definite interest in Auburn. Thompson has been a frequent visitor to Auburn in recent months, Thompson gained an offer from Auburn in early January and since then has visited the Tigers three times. Thompson is the number one receiver in the state of Alabama and his stats got to show it. The 6'3 200 pound receiver was a monster for Foley, gaining over 1000 yards and 9 touchdowns on the year. Auburn hopes to get Thompson on campus again this spring.

4. Nick Marsh - WR

Auburn has started to branch out when it comes to recruiting as during the past few years they've taken a few players from the Midwest. This can help to explain Marsh, a Michigan native, who has made the trek from Michigan to Auburn once on March 22nd, following him receiving an offer on March 8th. Nick despite being much more of a city boy as he lives in a suburb of Detroit, enjoyed the feel of Auburns campus and the hospitality and warmth, both from the weather and the attitude, he received.

5. Casey Poe - OL

The only lineman on this list is worthy of the spot. Poe recently visited Auburn where four-star QB Commit did his best to help recruit and sell the Tigers to the three-star Texas product. Poe has received major offers from Alabama, Auburn, Texas, Oklahoma just to name a few. Auburn looks to be pushing as the 6'5 280 pound interior lineman continues his recruitment. Poe could play on the exterior as well as the interior, he has the length and agility for it, but Auburn likes him at the Guard.

The staff is going out and trying to bring in the talent that is needed to compete in the SEC. These players are just some of the highlights of an overall impressive list of recruits that are being pursued by the Auburn Tigers.
