Auburn basketball is currently holding their own vs Alabama.

The Tigers are up 18-13 over the No. 3 Crimson Tide with less than 12 minutes to play in the first half - and point guard Wendell Green is a big part of why.

Green is currently 2-of-2 from behind the arc, including this DHO three from the top.

Series History

Alabama leads 99-65 in the all-time series with Auburn. However, the Tigers own a two-game win streak in the series after sweeping the Crimson Tide in conference play during the 2021-22 season.

AU holds a 33-28 advantage in the rivalry series when the game is played on its home court. The Tigers last defeated the Crimson Tide, 100-81, during its three-consecutive week stretch as the No. 1 team in the land on Feb. 1, 2022 at Neville Arena.

College GameDay

For the third time in program history, Auburn will host ESPN’s College GameDay on The Plains.

Auburn and Duke are the only two basketball schools to host College GameDay the last three seasons of the show in 2020, 2022, and 2023. The show did not air during the 2020-21 COVID season.

The Tigers are 2-0 in their previous College GameDay campus visits which include victories over then No. 13-ranked Kentucky (W, 75-66) on Feb. 1, 2020, and Texas A&M (W, 75-58) on Feb. 12, 2022, as the No. 1 team in the land.

AUTLIVE Game

The Bruce Pearl Family Foundation is continuing the fight against cancer with the eighth year of AUTLIVE, Auburn Basketball’s fight against cancer. The best way to beat cancer is to detect it early and be able to fight it on your home court. Visit AUTLIVE.com for more information or to donate to the cause.

AUTLIVE raises awareness of cancer prevention and detection while T-shirt sales and donations raise money to benefit cancer patients and their local hospitals. Pearl and his coaching staff initiated the OUTLIVE program in 2009 at Tennessee in recognition of former Vol Chris Lofton, who beat testicular cancer through early diagnosis and local treatment. He went on to play the entire 2007-08 season while battling the disease.

For the third year, prostate cancer screenings will take place on the concourse of Neville Arena before and during the game for men, who wish to be tested.

Both teams and game officials will hold up placards before tipoff in memory of loved ones, friends, and colleagues, who are still fighting or have lost their battle with cancer.
