What are the biggest takeaways from the game?

Auburn got the ball inside

36 of Auburn's 92 points came from inside the paint.

The Tigers used a mixture of lay-ups and high-flying dunks to put points on the board. They showed how effective they can be offensively in a variety of ways.

Not being one-dimensional on either end of the floor could be one of this team's biggest strengths.

Denver Jones came to play

The 6-foot-4 guard showed up in Auburn's regular-season finale.

Jones led the Tigers in scoring with 21 points. He posted three rebounds and three assists while shooting 7-10 from the field and 7-9 from 3-point range.

Jones has played a big role in Auburn's success this season and continues to show just how valuable he is for this team.

Auburn dominated in transition

The Tigers had complete control in transition and that made a difference.

Auburn had 20 fast-break points to Georgia's two. There was not a wide gap in turnovers, however.

Scoring in transition has been an inconsistency for Auburn this season, but the Tigers had it figured out today.

Auburn is now 24-7 on the season and 12-5 in SEC play.

What's Next?

The Tigers' next game will be in the SEC Tournament in Nashville, their opponent and game time are to be determined. Each SEC Tournament game can be found on ESPN or the SEC Network. The Auburn Sports Network broadcast can still be streamed anywhere on the Auburn Athletics app.
