Auburn football currently has one of the worst offenses in the SEC.

"Offensively, it's well documented, we've been inconsistent," Freeze said during a Monday morning press conference.

There were some bright spots throughout the LSU game this past weekend - a 48-18 blowout - but the Tigers continued to show nothing for it. The rotation at quarterback, the awkward game plan, the missed opportunities, it all led to drives dying when Auburn had a chance.

"We had four possessions to cut it to a one score game," Freeze said. "Not saying we would have won the game, but it certainly would have given us confidence. We found a way in three of the four to kill those drives. I think the plan was good. Awful start, that didn't help... we looked like zombies a bit on the sideline after that, and it kind of snowballed."

Will there be any sort of personnel changes heading into Ole Miss? Maybe more consistency at quarterback? No. There will be "no real earth shaking personnel changes" according to Freeze.

The team wants to run more RPOs but doesn't seem to have the guys to do it. They want to throw the ball downfield but can't ever seem to complete the passes. It feels like the Tigers are trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

Maybe Auburn is just what it is this season.
