Hugh Freeze on what he's loved about Auburn the most: The Auburn family, acceptance and another rebuild

In this story:
There's a new sort of excitement around Auburn football this upcoming season. Now that things have been reset after a disastrous 2022 season, it feels like the Auburn family has hope in the new regime leading the charge.
Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze joined The Daily Wire's sports show Crain & Co. on Wednesday morning. Freeze was asked about what his favorite thing about coming to Auburn was so far during his time on the Plains.
"The one thing is probably the Auburn family," Freeze said. "It's just neat. The love that Jill and I, and the acceptance that we've gotten - and our children, and that's another thing, all of my family is together again, which is everything at this point in my life [...] we're together. It makes my life feel complete."
Freeze went on to talk about how his excitement over what he and his staff have set out to accomplish has reignited the drive within himself as as coach.
"It's the feeling of the Auburn family and the excitement of me taking on another rebuild," Freeze said. "Which that motivates me greatly. You lose Malik Willis, and everybody's like 'yeah, you can't do it again,' that motivates the heck out of me. We (Liberty) went and beat BYU and Arkansas without him last year [...] I guess it's just I've got this new little drive, and to say 'you know what, bring it, and let's see if we can't do it again.' Those are the two things I've loved the most."
Auburn begins spring practice February 27th and will kick off their annual "A-Day" spring game on April 8th.
