Auburn is beat up, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

A physical game with the Texas A&M Aggies did not help matters, but Auburn was able to avoid adding a lot of new names to the list.

Who is Auburn almost definitely going to be missing on Saturday?

Austin Keys

Keys, a linebacker who transferred to Auburn from Ole Miss, is still recovering from a thumb injury that required surgery. Keys sustained the injury in practice ahead of the game against Cal.

In the win over UMass, Keys logged two tackles and was a difference-maker in the pass rush.

Keionte Scott

Scott, a cornerback who played JUCO ball before joining the Tigers, suffered a leg injury during Auburn's win over Samford.

Scott has logged 10 tackles and a quarterback hurry this season and is the primary punt returner for the Tigers.

Damari Alston

Alston is a sophomore running back who left Auburn's game against Texas A&M with a shoulder injury he sustained in the first half.

"They are doing more tests today with that, but he had a dislocated shoulder for sure and sometimes those things can heal on their own," head coach Hugh Freeze said. "Other times they require some more work, and we really don’t know."

Alston has 131 rushing yards and one touchdown this season.

Who is questionable for Saturday?

Donovan Kaufman

Kaufman, a junior safety, picked up an ankle injury during Auburn's win over Samford.

"(Donovan) Kaufman tried, but just kept being gimpy with the ankle and we’ll have to see how he is day to day," Freeze said.

Kaufman has 16 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery this season.

Zion Puckett

Puckett, a senior safety, left the Texas A&M game with a shoulder injury.

He has recorded eight tackles and a pass break-up so far this season.

J.D. Rhym

Rhym, a sophomore cornerback, was unable to play against Texas A&M due to an undisclosed injury.

He has recorded three tackles and an interception so far this season.
