Auburn briefing: Tigers possibly on the verge of landing biggest recruit in five years

In this story:
Auburn is getting close to landing their first five-star since 2019.
The Tigers' 2024 class is off to a phenomenal start underneath Hugh Freeze, and if Auburn can secure the services of receiver Cameron Coleman, it will be the first five-star the Tigers have gotten in five cycles.
Coleman recently received a prediction to commit to Auburn from On3. He is the No. 11 prospect nationally and the No. 4 WR has just received a prediction to commit to Auburn.
You can read about the prediction here.

The Tigers' 2024 class is off to a good start underneath Hugh Freeze.
Auburn's 2024 class includes four-stars Walker White (QB), A'Mon Lane (DB), Jayden Lewis (DB), J'Marion Burnette (RB), Joseph Phillips (LB), and Kensley Faustin (S), as well as three-stars Martavious Collins (TE) and Bryce Cain (WR).
As of right now, the average player rating (according to the On3 recruiting rankings) is 89.99.
Check out where that ranks nationally here.
When looking at special teams it is important to remember that there is a lot more going on than just the action of placing a ball upon a tee and kicking off. There is a lot of strategy that goes into the placement of that kick, and the pursuing players that follow after it. With that said, every player who lines up on special teams is there because they have the skills to effectuate the plans the coaching staff has in place, and to do so with speed and efficiency.

Colby Wooden was drafted in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers, and it seems like the former Auburn defensive lineman has a shot at playing time.

Tweet of the day:
One of the loudest moments inside Jordan-Hare Stadium came in 2006 against the No. 2 Florida Gators, when Auburn running back Tre Smith returned a blocked punt for a touchdown - somersault and all.
Never gets old.

Still to this day the loudest I’ve ever heard JHS! pic.twitter.com/GB7QGm6fab
I personally prefer Rod Bramblett and Stan White's call of the massive play.
