Unfinished business has been a common theme over the past two weeks for the Auburn Tigers.

Auburn tight end Rivaldo Fairweather told local media on Monday that he plans on returning for the 2024 season.

"I feel like I left a lot of food on the table here, unfinished business," Fairweather said to reporters.

Fairweather became the best receiving option on the offense during the season. He led Auburn with 349 receiving yards. He also led the way in receptions with 33 catches on the season. His six receiving touchdowns also led the way with only one other player on the team having more than two touchdown grabs.

Fairweather's news comes a few weeks after fellow tight end Luke Deal announced that he was returning to Auburn for another season. Tyler Fromm entered the transfer portal.

Freeze touted the tight end room as being leaders on this roster and praised their approach to the game. With another year of experience and the production that Fairweather saw in 2023, it's easy to see how the tight ends will continue to be a big part of Auburn's offense this upcoming season.

The current look at Auburn's tight end room outside of Fairweather and Deal is Brandon Frazier and Micah Riley. Auburn commit Martavious Collins is expected to sign with Auburn on Wednesday.
