Auburn's quarterback rotation has been awkward, clunky, and has slowed down the rhythm of the offense this season.

The negativity and dismay shown from the Auburn fanbase has yet to effect Robby Ashford, who told the media on Tuesday afternoon that he doesn't care what anybody online has to say about his game.

There have been plenty of doubters that have shared their opinion on Ashford as a quarterback. Some say he can't throw. Others say he should change positions. Ashford doesn't care about any of it.

“I feel more comfortable as a whole,” Ashford said. “Whoever says I can’t play quarterback, I really don’t care. They couldn’t do half of what I do. They can sit behind a phone screen and type all they want. It’s never going to faze me.”

His confidence in not only himself, but his teammates is at an all time high.

“I feel a whole lot better. I feel way more confident. I mean, just with the guys we have, I have the utmost confidence in them,” Ashford said. “So just being able to get those physical reps instead of mental ones when I was hurt, it’s definitely paid off really big for me.”

Ashford has tried to encourage his guys more, knowing that there are still plenty of games left to play this season.

Nobody can check out.

“That's what everybody has been telling each other: Hey, we've still got five games left,” Ashford said. “We can go out with a bang. We've got to come out and work. I mean, if you're not on board with us, then you don't need to be with us. The guys who are onboard — and that's pretty much this whole team — are ready to work and ready to give it their all. That's a big thing for us.”

The Tigers host Mississippi State this Saturday. Kickoff is at 2:30 pm CT and can be watched on the SEC Network.
