Lane Kiffin dunks on Auburn football graphic on Twitter
Kiffin hardly ever misses on the bird app, and he didn't miss here.
Auburn football released a graphic on social media yesterday that garnered some attention from other fanbases in the SEC.
The Auburn area had a Buc-ee's open just a few weeks ago. Buc-ee's, for those unfamiliar, can be described as a massive gas station/country store hybrid that is mostly popular in the state of Texas.
Folks in Auburn are clearly excited this new business. So, the university decided to make a graphic in honor of Buc-ee's to give to recruits to post.
Ernest Campbell, a three-star wide receiver from Refugio, Texas, tweeted a graphic with the caption "BucBuc in the 'A' luv it" yesterday afternoon. On the graphic, Auburn boasted about being the only school with a Buc-ee's.
It caught the attention of a much larger college football Twitter account @NoContextCFB, who reposted the graphic with no caption. Of course, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin found the image.
Kiffin decided to have Ole Miss make a graphic to show what Oxford has to offer that is unique compared to other SEC campuses.
They decided to take the self-own route by making a graphic about a Chevron gas station in the area.
"The only SEC school with a Chevron that sells chicken on a stick," the high-quality graphic read. In tiny text at the very bottom of the image it continued. "There's this Chevron near campus that sells really good chicken on a stick. That's pretty much it."
As expected there were several iterations of this new meme to form on the timeline, with Georgia getting in on the action with a graphic that boasted about Athens being the only school to have a Little Italy restaurant (it is not, Auburn has one as well, still funny nonetheless).
Lane Kiffin stays trolling.
