Five-star defensive line target to visit Auburn this weekend

In this story:
This week will likely be one of Auburn's biggest of the season from a recruiting standpoint.
Many recruits that Auburn is targeting in the classes of 2024 and 2025 will be in town for the Tigers' matchup with the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs and the list got a little longer yesterday.
LJ McCray, a 5-star defensive lineman, announced that he will be at Auburn this weekend.

According to On3, McCray is the No. 8 player nationally in the class of 2024 as well as the No. 1 defensive lineman and the No. 4 player in the state of Florida.
The 6-foot-6, 275-pound athlete is a native of Daytona Beach, Fla. and he attends Mainland High School.
McCray's On3 bio includes a statement from his high school coach Travis Roland that has without a doubt perked the ears of recruiters around the country.
“I think he has that freakish Jevon Kearse length, size and speed,” Roland said. “He's a super flexible athlete. His bend is amazing. He puts in a lot of effort. You don’t see many guys at 6-7 that can get in a low-aggressive stance like him. You should see him in DB drills – the fluidity is amazing.”
Other than Auburn, McCray holds offers from top programs such as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Texas A&M.
