Nebraska wide receiver Alante Brown plans to enter the transfer portal

Is Alante Brown the transfer portal wide receiver Auburn is looking for?

Portal news out of Nebraska tonight, as a Cornhusker’s wide receiver decides to test the waters elsewhere. Alante Brown, a sophomore headed into his junior season, declared his intentions to spend the two years of eligibility he has left elsewhere:

Brown, who goes by a nickname familiar to Auburn fans, “Cadillac”, measures in at six foot even and weighs a lean 190 pounds. Out of Chicago, Illinois, Cadillac played in every game as a sophomore and started 10 of them in 2022 with the Cornhuskers. He was hampered by an inconsistent offense and caught 16 passes for 191 yards. He played in 10 games as a freshman, catching three passes for 30 yards, and he played in every game during the Covid season. Catching 3 passes for 41 yards. He had a few rushes mixed in every one of those seasons on top of fielding kicks and punts for Nebraska at a fairly good clip.

Brown has speed to burn and pretty decent hands. Could that equal out to being someone that Auburn needs to take the top off of defense? Only time will tell.
