Transfer Portal Defensive Line Target Sets Official Visit

One of Auburn's Transfer Portal targets has set up an official visit to the Plains.

The Transfer Portal is open for the spring window and Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze will be looking to make some additions to the roster.

Blidi, rated as a 3-star transer, is the No. 273 player and the No. 26 defensive lineman in the portal according to 247Sports.

Blidi played for Texas Tech from 2020-2022 and for Indiana last season. Throughout his career, Blidi has played in 30 games, recorded 70 tackles, 35 solo tackles, 2.5 sacks and one pass deflection.

As a recruit, the Portales, New Mexico native was a 3-star recruit with a 0.8700 composite rating according to 247Sports. Blidi was the No. 688 player nationally in the class of 2020, the No. 30 defensive end and the No. 2 player in the state of New Mexico.

Blidi committed to Texas Tech over programs such as Kansas, New Mexico, New Mexico State, SMU, UCLA and Utah.

Other than Auburn, Blidi has been offered by programs such as Colorado, Kansas State, LSU, North Carolina, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas A&M and Washington since entering the portal.
