Though Alex Golesh’s prayers for the Auburn Tigers' offensive line have been answered, as he told the press recently, the future of the unit remains uncertain. That could change, however, with the addition of a few key pieces, including Luke Injaychock, an offensive line prospect who has already garnered offers from a variety of programs.

Injaychock is a 6-foot-5, 285-pound junior at Nazareth Academy in Illinois, and he is currently rated as a three-star prospect, though that is liable to change when he hits the field again come fall. As it stands, though, he is rated as the 43rd-best interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class as well as the 26th-best player from the state of Illinois.

Auburn Tigers on SI caught up with Injaychock after his Saturday visit to discuss all things Auburn, including his visit and his interest in the Tigers.

“What stands out about Auburn is the tradition and culture they have,” he said. “The coaches want to bring Auburn Football back to what it once was. I thought the visit was great, it was amazing seeing the campus and facilities.”

Injaychock, who has already received offers from programs like Ohio State, Missouri and Arkansas, added an Auburn offer back in February.

“When I think of Auburn I think of all the tradition,” he said. “The Heismans, National Championships and so much more really stand out.”

As mentioned, Alex Golesh previously joked that Auburn’s offensive line would need some prayer ahead of the 2026 season, as his new unit would be replacing one of the longest-tenured offensive lines in college football. However, recently, that opinion changed, and this year’s offensive line play could very well aid in picking up top prospects like Injaychock.

“Man, that’s gone viral, huh?” Golesh said with a slight chuckle when asked about his prior quote. “I would tell you that the group is coming together. It’ll be really good to get Stanton Ramil back eventually. I’ve been really pleased with, for the most part, the intent, the attention to detail… Prayers answered, four days in.”

Intent and attention to detail are hallmarks of Injaychock’s game, which would certainly fit in well in the new ‘be who you say you are’ culture that Golesh has created for his program.

“I want people to know that I will give it my all wherever I go,” Injaychock said.

Of course, Injaychock still has another full year of high school before moving to the collegiate level, and he is certainly likely to jump in the rankings if he continues playing at the level he has been. Either way, the Tigers would certainly benefit from a player like Injaychock, but they will have to land him first.”
