Big 12 Announces Broadcast Plans and Kickoff Times for Four BYU Games

BYU fans can mark their calendars for four games this Fall

On Wednesday, the Big 12 announced the kickoff times and broadcast plans for more than 40 conference football games. Included in the announcement were the kickoff times and broadcast plans for four of BYU's September games.

1. Sam Houston - Saturday, September 2 (Provo, UT)

Kickoff time: 8:15 PM MST

Network: FS1

The Big 12 era will kickoff after dark when BYU takes on Sam Houston. That game will be broadcast on FS1. There was a lot of discussion surrounding the fourth time window and the value that BYU would bring to the conference by playing late at night. It didn't take long for the networks to take advantage of BYU after dark.

2. Southern Utah - Saturday, September 9 (Provo, UT)

Kickoff time: 1:00 PM MST

Network: ESPN+

BYU's home game against SUU will kickoff in the afternoon and will be broadcast on ESPN+. This is a game that likely would have been broadcast by BYUtv during the independence era. Instead, it will be available only through ESPN+.

3. Arkansas - Saturday, September 16 (Fayetteville, AR)
