BYU RB Miles Davis Makes His First Appearance on the Depth Chart

After a bye week, Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program are preparing for a road game at TCU. On Monday, BYU unveiled the depth chart for TCU. Sophomore running back Miles Davis made his first appearance on the depth chart - Davis is listed as a co-backup at running back alongside Deion Smith and Aidan Robbins. Davis got his first carries of the season against Cincinnati and he took advantage of his limited opportunities, finishing with 17 rushing yards on 4 carries.
Davis was used as a change-of-pace back against the Bearcats. After the game, Kalani Sitake said Davis would be a "main-stay" for the BYU offense. "I’m so proud of Miles Davis for fighting through adversity," Sitake said. "I never saw him let down at all. He’s always working. Always upbeat. I think he’s going to be a main-stay for us. I think he’s taking advantage of opportunities.”
Last season, Davis was emerging as BYU's starting running back before he suffered an injury against Utah State. He finished with 225 yards on 40 carries last season, averaging 5.6 yards per carry.
Below is the rest of BYU's depth chart for TCU.
