BYU February Signing Day Live Tracker
The February national signing day is here for the BYU football program. During the early signing window in December, BYU signed 28 players. Today is not expected to be as action-packed as December, but a few of BYU's priority targets are still expected to make their college decisions. This article will serve as a live tracker for all BYU-related signing day news - it will be updated throughout the day.
Signing Day Live Updates
The first signing of the day has been announced. Former Baylor and USF quarterback Gerry Bohanon is officially a BYU Cougar. Bohanon, who has one year of eligibility remaining, will compete for the starting quarterback job starting in Spring camp. Bohanon is on campus and enrolled.
Naki Tuakoi is the second announcement of the day. Tuakoi, a four-star prospect per Rivals and ESPN, was previously committed to Stanford. He backed off his commitment back in October and BYU entered the picture.
BYU pulled off the signing day flip of Arizona commit Sefo Akuila. Akuila was being recruited by BYU prior to Jedd Fisch's departure to Washington.
BYU picked up a commitment from Kansas quarterback Dylan Dunn as a PWO.
