Pinging The Portal: Aaron Estrada Sets Decision Date, UC Contacts Top Shot Blocker Jamarion Sharp

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats reached out to one of the best shot blockers in college basketball history this week. Western Kentucky center Jamarion Sharp (7.4 points, 7.7 boards, and 4.1 blocks in 2022-23) has heard from Cincinnati.
24/7 High School Hoops reported the contact, as over a dozen schools have reached out so far.
Sharp's led the country in blocks in back-to-back seasons while sitting 10th all-time in blocks per game (4.4). The 7-foot-5 center would form a daunting frontcourt trio with Viktor Lakhin and Jamille Reynolds.
The 225-pounder is the tallest player in Division 1.
He spent two seasons playing at the junior college level for John A. Logan College before playing the last two seasons at Western Kentucky. The back-to-back Conference USA DPOY is even more intriguing as a veteran player with two years of eligibility.
