Pinging The Portal: Cincinnati Contacts Southern Illinois's Marcus Domask, Temple's Zach Hicks

CINCINNATI — UC basketball reached out to a pair of wings in the portal this week, starting with Southern Illinois forward Marcus Domask.

Domask started all 106 games he played at SIU the past four seasons. He averaged 16.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. The wing did it while shooting 45% from the field, 35% from three-point range (on nearly 5 shots per game), and 88% at the free-throw line.

The 6-foot-6, 125-pound wing was first-team All-MVC last season and has one year of eligibility left.

Domask is On3's 71st-ranked transfer.

Cincinnati also reached out to a familiar foe in Temple forward Zach Hicks.

The sophomore spent two seasons at Temple and started all 32 games this past campaign for the Owls. He averaged 9.6 Pts, 5.1 Reb, and 1.6 Ast this past season.

The 6-foot-7, 185-pound shooting threat hit nearly 36% of his 7 three-point tries per game this season. He's a long, rangy shooter that would help Cincinnati's spacing in the Big 12 over the next couple of years.

He has two seasons of eligibility left. Hicks is On3's 190th-ranked transfer.
