UC Guard Jeremiah Davenport Enters Transfer Portal

The veteran's the longest-tenured player on UC's roster.

CINCINNATI — One of UC's veteran players is testing the transfer waters.

Jeremiah Davenport has entered the transfer portal. The senior guard averaged 9.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists this past season. He has one year of eligibility remaining after playing for Cincinnati since 2019.

Davenport's scoring efficiency took a massive hit this past season as he eventually moved to a sixth-man role in favor of forward Ody Oguama, who is returning for his fifth college season.

If Davenport exits and Landers Nolley continues to pursue a professional career, Cincinnati will have two open roster spots that it can fill in the portal.
