UC Football Right in The Middle of Big 12's 2023 Miles Traveled Ranks

UC won't have to go very far to play out its schedule.

CINCINNATI — The Big 12 football season features plenty of travel for all 14 teams in 2023, but no one is traveling close to as much as one team: The UCF Knights.

Bookies.com calculated the total mileage for each program and UC checks in right in the middle with the seventh-most miles traveled.

"UCF is set to travel 14,914 miles over the course of six road games in 2023, most of any Power 5 team in the country by a wide margin," Dan Kilbridge wrote. "It begins with a 4,367-mile journey to Boise State in Week 2 and ends with a 2,517-mile road trip at Texas Tech. Cincinnati is the shortest trip on the schedule at 1,507 miles, and on average the Knights will travel 2,486 miles per road game – that’s more than the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs will travel the entire season."
