Three-Star 2024 Cornerback Jiquan Sanks Names UC in Top-Seven Schools
CINCINNATI — UC football is firmly in the final seven schools for three-star 2024 cornerback Jiquan Sanks out of Central (Alabama).
Houston, Memphis, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Boston College, and Troy are also candidates.
According to 247Sports, Sanks is the 119th-ranked cornerback nationally and the 52nd-ranked player from Alabama. He held 18 offers before cutting down his list.
The 6-foot, 175-pound playmaker primarily operated close to the slot on the clips I saw. Sanks can hit hard and wraps with nice form on short routes and screens. His hip fluidity stands out in coverage as he showed strong recoverability multiple times.
Sanks showed adequate extension on pass breakups and can take an interception to the house when he gets bodies out in front of him.
