Nick Lachey to be Guest Picker For ESPN's  College GameDay Ahead of Bearcats Homecoming

The Bearcats battle the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday in their Homecoming game

College GameDay announced their guest picker for their first-ever appearance in Cincinnati. Nick Lachey will grace the stage for the festivities on Saturday morning.

The lead singer of 98 Degrees will be making all of the picks with Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, and Desmond Howard. Outside of his 98 Degrees-fame, Lachey has released four solo albums during a singing career that began at Cincinnati's largest theme park.

Lachey found his singing chops with a friend in a Kings Island group quartet. Those beginnings led him to this year's season of The Masked Singer, where he won first place on the FOX show.

One thing that Bearcat fans may not love about this selection is Lachey's alma mater. The entertainer is a Miami University graduate, so don't expect him to be biased towards the Bearcats when the final pick rolls around.
