ESPN's College GameDay Coming to Cincinnati for First Time

It's Homecoming week for the Bearcats.

CINCINNATI — The University of Cincinnati continues to make history on the gridiron.

The Bearcats are 8-0 this season, as their question for a National Championship continues.

Luke Fickell's squad is one of the best in the country, which is why ESPN's College GameDay will be in town this Saturday for Cincinnati's Homecoming matchup against Tulsa.

It's the first time College GameDay will be in Cincinnati on Saturday from 9 a.m. until Noon.

“This is a huge week. We will know exactly what the College Football Playoff committee thinks of the Bearcats, and we’ll react to it,” Rece Davis said when he announced the news.

College GameDay always has a special guest picker. Who will represent Cincinnati?

Will it be Joe Burrow? What about Joey Votto? Nick Lachey?

Maybe Bearcats legend Tony Pike will get the call?

Regardless of who it is, the University of Cincinnati is having a potentially historic season. They're 8-0 for just the fifth time in school history.

After a few closer-than-expected wins on the road against Navy and Tulane, the Bearcats are hoping to dispose of Tulsa in their quest to make the College Football Playoff.

Cincinnati is the only team in the country that ranks in the Top 10 nationally in both scoring offense (39.9 points, 9th) and scoring defense (14.3 points, 2nd).
