TUNNEL HILL — Cincinnati football sent an offer to another Georgia athlete. Evan Ward is the newest addition to the Cincinnati Bearcats 2025 offer list.

Ward is an athlete from McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Georgia, and is not ranked on a major service. He measures in at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds.

“This offer means a lot to me," Ward said. "Knowing that my hard work is finally paying off, just being patient, trusting the process, and seeing that it’s working means so much. This is going to drive me to go even harder. The coach I spoke with was (linebackers) Coach (Cort) Braswell. He was very welcoming and excited to see me. He stayed with a smile on his face and cracked lots of funny jokes.

"He explained to me how much he wanted me to be a part of this program and how I checked off everything he needed out of an outside linebacker. The staff is extremely supportive and funny. I met with the tight-end coach before Coach Braswell got there, and he was quite a funny guy. All the coaches I met with seemed to have a good connection with each other like a family, and thats what I look for in a college.”

Cincinnati's respect for people stands out to Ward.

“What makes Cincinnati unique is how everyone is treated like family. When I met with the coaches, they always brought up another coach they love and how much of a connection they all had. The brotherly love they explained that the team and coaches have within each other really stuck out to me,” Ward stated. "In the system, I feel like I can contribute a large amount on the defensive side of the ball, making sure nothing gets behind the defense, which makes winning teams.”

Ward would love to set up a visit to UC as he mulls his options at the next level.

“Yes, I would love to visit, and I heard many good things about the college and atmosphere," Ward concluded.
