2025 Linebacker Luke Metz Talks Offer, Names Cincinnati as Top-Eight School

In this story:
TUNNEL HILL — One of the more recent names to receive an offer from Cincinnati football is Luke Metz, who has also visited the school.
Metz is a linebacker from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia, in the 2025 class. He is a 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame who holds 23 offers from many other schools like Duke, Missouri, and Tennessee.
The junior is unranked on a major service and described what makes Cincinnati unique.
“The coaches and the relationships I have with the coaches are amazing," he said. "Also, the dorms are super nice, and it’s just unreal. I also love the stadium and the overall Ohio vibe. I keep coming back to Cincinnati because my relationship with the coaches is awesome! I’m impressed with Coach Satt's outlook on the team and how they do things.”
Metz described which coach he's built the best relationship with.
“I talk to every coach on the staff, but my main guy is Coach Braswell," Metz said. "He’s definitely one of my top two favorite coaches. He’s just such a real guy, and I can tell him anything. I can call him at 1 a.m., and he will answer the phone. He is always there for his guys. This staff’s pitch to me is that they will develop players and get them into the NFL. They don’t have a big NIL, but they will get you into the NFL. They will also get you a degree, and they will have some of the best college atmospheres!”
Finally, Metz has Cincinnati as one of his top schools and is planning another visit. “I would say Cincinnati is in my top 8, and yes, I plan to visit really soon.”
