Recruiting Roundup: UC Basketball Offers Three-Star 2024 Forward Darrion Sutton

CINCINNATI — Time for a check-in on the UC basketball recruiting trail with an offer to 2024 three-star forward Darian Sutton out of Accelerated Schools (Colorado).

According to 247Sports, Sutton is the 125th-ranked player nationally and the 32nd-ranked small forward.

He holds five other offers from schools like Fresno State and St. John's.

Sutton is a bit slight at 6-foot-10, 170 pounds but the off-the-dribble skills are palpable as a bigger offensive creator. He can break down defenders all over the floor with nice hesitation moves, leading to rim explosions.

He's a ferocious rebounder as well, who threw down a rare poster over 2024 five-star UC priority target Flory Bidunga recently.

2024 4 🌟 prospect Darrion Sutton continued his dominant summer this weekend. Had 30 pts, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, & 3 blks against DC Premier, & had 19 pts, 14 rebs, 5 asts, & 3 blks in another game.

UC hoops also offered 2025 forward Niko Bundalo out of Green (Ohio).

Bundalo is not ranked on a major service and holds four other offers from Xavier, Seton Hall, Kent State, Georgetown, and Bryant.

He plays for the Wildcat Select club team sponsored by Adidas and has been one of the premier risers this spring at 6-foot-9, 210 pounds.

The long talent runs the floor very smoothly and boasts a nice jump shot to space things out, and complement some strong verticality at the rim. Defensively, Bundalo has stable feet and decent shot-block timing but could probably develop the most on that front as he looks to crack major the 2025 rankings.
